BACKThe pond two days after excavation in June 2002 when it had already filled with water. To the left is an existing marshy area which acts as the outlet for the water. From this area water flows back to its original course as a small stream emptying in to the Fivehead river which runs alongside Beer Mill Farm. water enters the pond from a small spring to the right. Maximum depth is about 1.5 metres shelving upwards gradually.
